KATHARINE FERNS

This is my newest painting. It is 8 feet by 4 feet and oil on canvas on panel. It feel finished for me right now. However, I may add more figures to this work when I go back to school in January but for now I need some distance from the work.

The Property Brothers commissioned a painting from me for an episode called “Katherine and Jordan” and this episode has already aired in Canada.

On HGTV this episode is called “Condo to Reno” and it will air for the first time on Sunday, November 27th, 2011 on HGTV in the United States. Please check your local listings for show times.

Once this episode “Condo to Reno” has aired on television it will be available for viewing on the HGTV website.

This is my new painting so far. I am just waiting for this newest layer to dry before adding more figures to the work.

The Property Brothers commissioned a painting for the Episode called “Katherine & Jordan”.

It will air in Canada on the W Network on Thursday, November 3rd, 2011. With repeats through the week.

The Property Brothers television show on HGTV and W Network commissioned me to make a painting for one of the homes they renovated. The Second Season Episode is called “Katherine & Jordan” and the painting now rests in their bedroom.

Here is my studio on the construction site of the home the Property Brothers were renovating.

I painted this work on the hottest day in Toronto’s summer of 2011. It was 50 degrees Celsius and the paint took a little longer than expected dry. Thankfully it dried just in time for the filming of the Episode.
